Completed in 1888 in commemoration of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee the previous year, the Brighton Clock Tower is a city landmark and popular meeting place at the crossroads of North Street, West Street, Queens Road, Dyke Road and Western Road. Standing at 75 feet high with four clock faces and built in pink granite, the architecture of this now English Heritage listed tower has been called charming and charmingly ugly.
