The furthest from the city center, Portobello is definitely the most isolated beach within Brighton. The hoards of tourists don't venture this far, leaving the locals and their dogs alone to enjoy the area. The more adventurous will be treated to stunning views from the cliffs, and its also a good spot for surfing, swimming, kite flying and coastal walks, including the famous Seven Sisters path.
