Founded in 1794 to preserve scientific instruments and inventions, the Musée des Arts and Metiers is a rich repository of industrial design housed in the old priory of Saint-Martin-des-Champs and an adjoining building. Guided tours and audio guides available. Entry is free the first Sunday of each month and from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays.
