Fabrik is a cultural center housed in a former machine parts factory dating from the mid-1840s, founded in 1971 by painter Horst Dietrich and architect Friedhelm Zeuner. The space has maintained much of its industrial chic and makes a nice setting for a full program of exhibitions, performances, concerts and the frequent Gay Factory party. Look for the big old crane over the entrance.
