Musicians can receive free or discounted accommodations in exchange for a gig at Sky Backpackers Hostel, housed in a converted recording studio once frequented by the likes of U2, Van Morrison and Sinead O'Connor. Although its music production days may be over, bright wall art pays homage to the building's musical past and guests have been known to break into spontaneous jam sessions. Rooms are private or shared, with female-only dorms available. Free events include walking tours daily, Guinness Stew Saturdays and Pancake Tuesdays, among others.
