It might not cover a lot of ground, but the Old Botanical Garden is a paradisiacal garden and arboretum in the city center, not to be confused with the Botanical Garden at the University of Zurich. Its lovely steel and glass greenhouse is often used for concerts, theater and art exhibits, and a medieval herb garden has over fifty different types of medicinal plants.
