The Museu da Imagem e do Som (MIS-RJ) is a audiovisual museum which documents the history of music, language and images within Brazilian culture as well as the devices used throughout the years. The collection is always expanding due to testimonials recorded and saved for posterity. The museum has occupied an old building in downtown Rio and is due to for relocation to a brand new venue in the heart of Copacabana in 2015.
