With a late-night wine bar, the celebrities-favorite Nine One Five has an outdoor, wrap-around porch on the first floor of a old Victorian House and an overhanging balcony and an indoor bar on the second. It serves inventive dishes like bacon-wrapped dates in chili sauce as a starter. Main courses are heavy on seafood but also feature a grass-fed 8 oz hamburger with roasted tomato jam, truffled mozzarella and baby arugula for $20. The chef has received two invitations to cook from the James Beach Foundation since the restaurant opened in 2001. Reservations advised.
