The bright blue 84-room Georgian Hotel with its black-and-white striped awning is 1933 Art Deco inside and out and so pet-friendly it has turn-down service for Fido. The upscale 84-room hotel, a block from the Santa Monica Pier, was one of LA's first speakeasies with a secluded location, martinis and a guest list that included Bugsy Siegel. Rather than being secluded, it's in the center of things today.
