The 1.25-acre (.5 ha) dog park at the Silver Lake Reservoir is no-leash with separate areas for big dogs and smaller or timid dogs. Facilities include dog troughs, drinking fountains and shady places to sit and socialize. It is next to the Silver Lake Reservoir that has a 2.2 mile (3.5 km) trail, playgrounds, a basketball court and a grassy knoll called the Meadow, off-limits to pets.
