Wacko Soap Plant is a pop-culture emporium that's been in business since 1971. A temple of kitsch, it has collectibles, books, clothing, jewelry, toys - and soap. Upstairs is the counter-culture La Luz de Jesus Gallery where the California low-brow school began. Art openings on the first Friday of each month are as much for the party as the art.
