The late-afternoon Tea Dance at the Boatslip is the cornerstone of the Provincetown summer schedule. From mid-June through mid-September, the outdoor deck revs up for a three hours of dancing like nobody's watching. DJ Maryalice spins the best house and club hits, along with whatever music suits that evening's theme. The dance is attended mostly by the boys, but lesbians are welcome and will feel right at home. Cover charges run from $5 to $10, free for guests of the Boatslip hotel. Many hotels also sell weekly Tea Dance passes.
