Graaff's Pool - a rock tidal pool - once was where men traditionally swam and sunned in the nude on concrete steps between Marais and Oliver Roads. Local pressures led to knocking down the concrete screening wall. The pool is now closed, but the Sea Point Promenade still has some late night cruising.
