Connecting Central and North London is the beautiful Regent's Park. In the Outer Circle, extensive open fields, running tracks, fountains and lawns. In the Inner Circle, Queen Mary's garden is a beautifully manicured Italian-styled oasis with an endless variety of flowers and a lake with a colony of herons. The Regent's canal to the North is a fantastic walk which leads into Camden Town and to the West there is a private estate, the official residence of the Ambassador of the United States, right next to the London Central Mosque, the largest in the city.
