The WindsoR Hotel rightly bills itself as "chambres d'artistes" as each of its 57 rooms has mythological frescos or other original art work. The hotel also has a permanent collection of contemporary art and special installations. Rooms are small, but some look out on the tropical garden and swimming pool. The 19th century building is equidistant (about a 10-minute walk) between the train station and old town and a couple of blocks to the beach. Its triple and quadruple rooms accommodate families or friends traveling together.
