Le Rubis serves traditional French dishes like lentils and sausage at mid-day in a small upstairs dining room. The three daily specials are written on a chalk board. After lunch until the 11 p.m. closing, Le Rubis becomes a wine bar, cold cuts and cheese the only food. The first floor has a few small tables and a standing-only zinc bar. Closed Sundays.
