La Cholita may be in trendy Recoleta but is still off the tourist track and a casual Argentine steakhouse experience that is popular enough to form a line after 7 pm, which often means a packed and loud dining room. The menu is as expected: grilled beef, sausages, chicken and fish with a selection of sides like green salad, grilled peppers and onions, rice, polenta and fries, served on wooden planks.
