A modest little shop in Fairview, La Taqueria Pinche serves four tacos for $10, a great deal that draws flocks of crowds at lunch and dinner. You can get the standard carnitas filling, but there are several vegetarian options as well. Try the Mexican pineapple soda - it helps cut the spice of the condiments and has a pleasantly tart aftertaste. There aren't many places to sit, but you can wander out and find a park bench nearby.
