Bill Reid is something of an iconic figure in British Columbia, celebrated for his efforts to introduce the arts and crafts of the region's First Nations. The museum does an admirable job of preserving the legacy of this local master, and the building is small enough to get through in about an hour and a half. Exhibits cover a number of mediums, including sculpture, totem poles, masks and jewelry. The museum store is also well worth a visit.
