Atlanta is home to the largest aquarium in the western hemisphere - a wonderful aquatic amusement-park-esque fantasia in all its glory - with an overwhelming collection of underwater animal life that any family with young children or fish fanatic would be loath to miss. Most famously, it is the only aquarium outside of Asia with whale sharks, though it is hard to say what is more impressive: these graceful giants of the deep or the size of their tank.
