At the century-old Joe's Stone Crab, expect to wait. That's part of the tradition at the institution known for its stone crab, creamed spinach, hash browns and Key Lime pie.  No reservations are taken and the maitre 'd refuses bribes.  But it's worth the wait for a dining experience like no other.  Less atmospheric  is Joe's Take-Away next door, which also serves breakfast. Joe's Stone Crab closes mid-summer to October. Check hours and openings before going.
