Flamingo Park at Jefferson and 11th Street is a nearly 40-acre park that has been around since 1950. It has 17 tennis courts, football/soccer fields, basketball courts, track and field facilities, a lap pool, water playground, tot lot/playground and a gym sponsored by the Police Athletic League.
