Daniel - as in French celebrity chef Daniel Boulud - is his swanky Michelin 2-star flagship in Manhattan. Opened in 1993, it changed locations five years later, moving to the Park Avenue and 65th Street location once the home to famed Le Cirque. For a dressed-up, well-heeled clientele, the restaurant has been slightly out of favor among critics in recent years, demoted from three stars by both Michelin and The New York Times but still up there in the stratosphere.
