An underground museum on the Mall, the Museum of African Art presents sculpture, archaeological artifacts, photography, pottery, and textiles from sub-Saharan Africa. They also offer educational programs for children and adults, and workshops based on the artistic methods of Africa's peoples. Their store is one of the best, and offers books and artistic reproductions of the works in the museum. Closed for holidays.
